ACTION SPEAKS MORE THAN WORDS RITE????

Yesterday I went to the Mylapore fest, which usually takes place in January month of every year which includes competition, music, and dance where Mylapore residents have a galla time. Even though I am not a part of it, just went to witness it for very first time. Had a glance of all competitions going on and the petty shops in the road side. Then we decided to step into the very famous kabaleeshwarar temple, where I was shocked to see a board saying that “Non Hindus are not allowed inside” near the karbagraha (the place where we worship the god - mulavar). Even I remember seeing the same kind of board in world wonder nominee madurai meenakshi amman temple. I do not know what made people to put such a preposterous board in the temple, where many foreigners come as tourist to relish and awe at the cultural and traditional value of our country. I am damn sure that this kinda atrocious statement would definitely create a bad impact on our culture. Every religion’s principle portrays the same message that, every religion is the same and God is one. Only thing is we people see and worship god in our own ways. Preaching the students that all Indians are brothers and sisters and doing something like this which is totally contrary will not serve the purpose of doing it at all. Definitely these kinda stupid things will really aggravate the violence and fight amidst people. So I think government should take necessary actions to take off such boards which convey such atrocious statement. The very same thing was boggling me when I was doing pradharshanam and saw a couple from foreign country with a guide, who explains them the history and importance of the temple to them while going out of the temple. There I had shocking news waiting for me. Yeah my slipper was missing where I left it and was searching it for a couple of minutes and came to a conclusion “yethana periyar vandhalum evangala thirutha mudiyadhu” in a vivek style.

Bollywood vs Kollywood

Last week I saw SRK’s recent hit rab ne bana di jodi, I was surprised to see five beautiful actresses (preity zinta, kajol, lara dutta, rani mukerjee and bipasha basu) in a guest appearance for a song. Now a days guest appearance of many stars has become a usual element of SRK movies. Even in Om shanti om he was successful in bringing bunch of 51 top actors for a song, but notable point is only SRK can make it. Even in a spoof award scene of a movie, he managed to bring both B’s, hrithik roshan and few more stars, (I can’t even imagine vijay, ajit, simbu or dhanush would accept and do this kinda scenes). Even though these guest appearances are of few min, still it shows the bond and affinity amidst bollywood stars.

Thinking, why am I talking these things all of a sudden?? Hmm yeah I just wanna know why these kinda appearances are not taking place in any of our kollywood movies?? Either here people are not broad minded or very egoistic? Do not know which is right..

Heard that director P.Vasu tried doing a song like OSO in his movie kuselan starring Rajini kanth and nayanthara, but the fact is he could not do so. Here people are not interested for cameo appearances. Dono why people turn their deaf ears towards such offers, may be they would feel this kinda role may not be favorable for their future. But in bollywood kareena kapoor has again signed for an upcoming SRK’s movie for an item number. Even though she is in leading position, she never turns off those offers. But here even heroine with two flop movies in hand will be hesitant to come for an item song or some tiny role. Even in older days, only few veteran directors like K.B, Maniratnam were successful in doing movies with cluster of top actors, notably even now mani’s script demand for such stuff and he succeeds bringing people together in his movies. Kudos to them!!!

These actors as performers should be in position to play any kinda roles given to them. I personally think, giving best movies as a performer in a tiny role is far far better than flop movies as a lead actor. If these big stars club and give movies, it would seriously be a visual treat for people.

NO SOLUTION TO KEEP UP RESOLUTIONS...

Ya apt topic in this new year. Resolution is the word which ponders me a lot on every jan 1st, but frankly speaking this resolution will not even work for more than two days. But this time my resolution is to blog frequently this year. Only after reading the blogs of various busy people, I made up my mind to start bloging again. Ya when cine people who blog amidst their busy schedule, why can’t I do that in my vetti time? So at least this time I should keep up my resolution. Here I wanna share some of my funniest resolution in my school days, which I won even, follow for two days at a stretch. They are

1. Should wake up at 5’o clock everyday was my resolution in 6th std, but I dint even follow that for two days.

2. Should not tell any lies to my mother was my resolution in 8th std, but I could'n even keep up for a day.

3. Thought of writing diary everyday, but I dint do that more than a week, because I did not find any stuff to write there. So even this resolution was a very big flop show.

Here all I want to say is taking resolution was not my cup of tea which always ended up in a flop show and made me to take a resolution which is nothing but “stop making resolution and be yourself”.

FEW QUESTIONS REMAINS UNANSWERED

The question which bothering me for a long time is “Why Indians never see cinema as cinema??” Only here we can see people doing propaganda of their favorite star’s movie by doing all possible things like conducting a procession with the reels, doing all poojas to their cut outs and so on. Why all this?? Is any actor demanding it straight forwardly? But I know they wont hesitate to get all these things, because after all these are their weapons to stay in the field.

Recently I saw a program about actors and their fan clubs in one of the tamil channels, in that I saw one fellow telling that he can even give his life for his star. What is this? Why the hell he should give his life to someone else who is unknown to him? All these things keep confusing me.

Why don’t we see actors as a human being who is just doing his job?? Why do we give hype to all those people??

We should see them as actors who are doing their job. If you like someone’s acting or the film; just see their movie twice or thrice in the theatre. It will be our greatest tribute to them. Apart from that why should we commence a fan club and waste our precious time and money?? These actors are someone like IT professional who just do their job and get salary. Nothing more than that.

I know many will have a different opinion from mine. But still its just my own views about this actor’s fan club and the activities done on the first day of big shot’s release.
