I want to make my second blog abt cheeni kum songs. Illayaraja has proved his talent in bolly wood too. No doubt tht he is a maestro.Ya even though we are familiar wid the tune but the lyrics n voice make us "feel" the song once again.The title song Cheeni Kum is a rip off from Maniratnam's Mauna Raagam hit song 'Mandram vandha thendralukku', another song Batein hawa also rendered by Shreya Ghosal is from Mella Thirandhadhu Kadhavu movie's hit song 'Kuzhaludhum kannanukku'. Both these songs have been lapped up by the Bollywood industry. Solo instrumental is worth mentionin here. Shreya Ghosal has sung all female part in this movie. Her voice really rocks and no wonder she s maestro's fav singer.It's a surprise that the songs which were termed classics some 15 years ago in Kollywood are appreciated by Bollywood now.
Review says movie is doin good and it really rocks by Bachan's and Tabu's performance. R.Balakrishnan(director) has made ppl turn at him by his debut movie cheeni kum. I wish ppl to hear the song.
